Dr. Hesidence is an experienced wound-care physician and foot and ankle surgeon. Before medicine, he served as a Medevac helicopter pilot, earning the Air Medal with Valor for his service in Desert Storm. He completed medical school at Barry University and a general surgery and podiatry residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital. He has spent much of his career serving patients in veterans' hospitals and the Indian Health Service, experience that fits the needs of the Gallup community especially well.
