Dr. Rachel Beckman is a dedicated podiatric physician committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She has advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, with special emphasis on pediatric foot and ankle disorders, trauma, reconstructive surgery, and limb salvage.

Dr. Beckman earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery after graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology–Exercise Science from the University of South Dakota. She completed a three-year Podiatric Surgical Residency at the New Mexico Veterans Affairs Health Care System and Kaiser Foundation Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training.

Passionate about advancing the field of podiatric medicine, Dr. Beckman has presented at the New Mexico Podiatric Medical Association Conference on topics including complex rearfoot trauma, Achilles tendon ruptures, and surgical complications. She has also completed advanced pediatric foot and ankle training through specialized courses at the Paley Foundation and Carrie Tingley Hospital, focusing on pediatric deformities, clubfoot treatment, and surgical planning.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Beckman has demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and service. She has mentored medical students and junior residents, served as a student ambassador throughout her medical education, and volunteered extensively with Special Olympics, helping improve access to foot and ankle care for athletes with intellectual disabilities.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Beckman enjoys weightlifting, rock climbing, snowboarding, reading, furniture repurposing, crafting, and spending time with family and friends.
