Zhipeng Yang, DPM is board-qualified in Foot Surgery and Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Biology from William Jewell College, MO where he was elected the chapter president of the National College Senior Honor Society. He then proceeded to obtain his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Rosalind Franklin University (IL) and graduated Magna Cum Laude as a Pi Delta. During his rigorous surgical residency in Albuquerque (NM) and Kaiser Permanente - South Sacramento and North Valley (CA), Dr. Yang attained extensive surgical experiences in foot and ankle trauma, adult and pediatric reconstruction, sports medicine, arthroscopy, and total ankle replacement. Dr. Yang practices evidence-based and patient-centered medicine. He prides himself on being a wonderful listener and loves to educate with a shared goal of quality patient care. He is known for his excellent bedside manner, thoroughness and kindness. He is excited to start seeing patients in Los Alamos, and to serve the surrounding communities. Outside of work, Dr. Yang enjoys ethnic cuisines, tennis, traveling, and exploring the fantastic outdoors that New Mexico has to offer.
